This is not investment, financial or legal advice, not a buy or sell recommendation, and not a judgement about projects or persons. The short version

No account, no cookies, no tracking, no ads. Germanus analyses public blockchain state and publishes the results. The only personal data processing on our side is an anonymised hash of your IP address when you start a scan, used to enforce the scan window.

Processing when you run a scan

To protect the service against abuse, we process an anonymised, salted hash of your IP address (legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest in protecting operation and cost). The IP address itself is not stored. Analyses are published anonymously; no information about who requested them is stored or displayed.

What Germanus publishes

Each analysis documents public on-chain state of a token, permanently and openly, including up to 100 wallet addresses of the largest holders with their on-chain trading facts (buy cost, sell revenue, profit and loss, first trade, balances, funding origin, wallet age). Wallet addresses are pseudonymous blockchain identifiers; Germanus adds no identity data and holds none. Legal basis for this publication: Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest in market transparency and fraud prevention on public blockchains.

Retention

The archive is permanent by design: analyses remain retrievable so that they stay comparable over time. See the removal procedure below.

Server logs

The web server technically processes connection data (IP address, timestamp, requested URL) in log files with short retention, as required to deliver the site securely (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR).

External data sources

Analyses query blockchain data services: Helius, Birdeye, Solscan, Dexscreener, Jupiter, Raydium. Only the token contract address is transmitted to them, never anything about you. This describes analyses. The optional wallet connection is separate and stays inside your browser: see “Wallet connection” below.

Observations (community content)

Submitted observations are reviewed before publication and stored with an anonymised IP hash for abuse protection. They must reference evidence and must not contain judgements about persons or projects.

Removal procedure

The archive is immutable by default. If published content violates your rights, send a substantiated notice to support@germanus.app, naming the analysis, the specific content, and the right you claim is violated. Notices are reviewed and answered; where a violation is established, the affected content is removed or redacted. Mere disagreement with documented on-chain facts is not a ground for removal.

Wallet connection

The credits page offers an optional Connect wallet button for Solana wallets. It is entirely voluntary and does nothing until you click it. No wallet code runs before that click, and Germanus loads no third-party wallet library at all. It speaks to the provider your own browser extension injects.

If you connect, the wallet address is stored in your browser only (localStorage). It is never sent to our server, never written to our database and never appears in our logs. Nothing is signed and nothing is transferred. Disconnecting removes it immediately and completely; clearing your browser storage has the same effect. Because no personal data reaches us, there is no processing on our side to describe a legal basis for.
